When they do a sequel, would you want it set in Eorzea again?

Seeing the trend, it would probably follow the likes of FFXI (FFXIV 1.0) (FFXIV ARR) >> 3 Big City-states / 3 Beastman tribes >> different races but in a whole new world. (I'd prefer that) BUT I want them to leave the "Cookie-cutter / Theme Park" style and go in with fun/sense of danger/discovery in mind. It's what made FFXI so good, the freedom of exploration, the sense of danger.

My wish list for SE's new game would be to branch off of the MMORPG and just do pseudo-MMO / RPG sort of like Bungie's Destiny and be a shared-world looter adventure where balance is off the table and give us fun, unique jobs, gear that changes how you play.

I can picture a:
Black Mage, and the ability to swap between three different schools:

• Archaic (Ice / Fire / Thunder magic)
• Necromancy (Dark magic/Undead magic)
• Earthen (Earth/Water/Wind magic)

RDM

• Fencer (Sword Magic)
• Ancient (White/Black Magic)
• Saboteur (Enfeebler / Healer) Plus Refresh, it needs to have Refresh, for a throwback

And they could do that with all the other jobs. Imagine having a DRK and being able to either choose a Tank or a DPS, and play the job whatever way you want to. Heck, be a DRK that focuses more on wielding a Scythe and casting black magic like a BLM.

[These class swap ideas are all stemming from Destiny's class system and how to let's say Warlock has: (Voidwalker / Sunsinger / Stormcaller)] but using a FF style DPS/Tank/Healer framework.

Just spitballing... a man can wish.

Give us a big world to explore, with an excellent narrative, and let us band together w/ other's at random, have big hub worlds, etc. with tons of jobs to play. Keep a semi-job system w/ tanks and such, DPS, healers, support.

That's what I wish the next Final Fantasy MMO shared world game would be like.
