Can we get a month without a seasonal event?

I agree, but at least the stuff we're getting in this game isn't as useless as the event stuff we got in XI. I liked these Easter rings because (when I got them) I was leveling my lancer (which was about 16).

Ark Angel weapons, Warp Staffs, reraise wands etc etc are definitely not useless lol. So the ones in XIV has a bit more battle use for example, XI's were more for fun with the exception of the anniversary rings.

I know I don't have to do them, but when they are in achievements that you have one shot at I feel required.

Also this is Eorzea not earth, shouldn't they have their own holidays. Sure they wrap it in lore than ties it to that world, but honestly they are this worlds holidays. So unique holidays to the world, and less of them so they feel special when one comes around is what I am asking for.

I was going to say February, but I'd forgotten Valentione's Day. So the last month without a seasonal event was last November, back when I wasn't playing. (Assuming you don't count the few hours on the morning of Nov. 1 that was the last of All Saint's Wake). And before that, there was only June and July, and they apologized for not giving us a midsummer event...

I'm fine with the events. I completely agree with Altanas in that some, if not all, events should be by region, including regions outside the main three.

Aaactually, although achievements cause me some stress, I'd still rather have a seasonal event only reward me an achievement and no items. Regardless of the Inn storage that we'll get for those. . . . The one-time-only makes me feel bad about throwing them away, yet I never ever use them /ocd

i don't care for the events much but i like the seasons, esp the flower trees in uldah, they adding some dimension the to the city with the falling flowers.

I like having all cities celebrate the events. One other thing that happens when the events are all in one city is that everyone MUST do that event in that city. I know people who stay in Limsa and do events in Limsa because their computers can't handle Ul'dah.

Frankly I think the events are one of the things that has made the game more tolerable in the lack of nothing to do; particularly the amazing summer festival decorations.
