Does Square intend to address Market botting?

As far as I know, there's no way to forge a Maker's Signature nor is there really any reason to do so.

If it's just the 4 items (I'm assuming they're 4 different tools) could be someone who bought them months ago, never used them and is now trying to make some gil back. I've done that a few times while leveling a new alt. I'll buy an item but don't end up using it for whatever reason then find it sitting in my armory chest months later so I sell it. I've also seen it occasionally with my own items, especially Orchestrion rolls.

I wouldn't worry unless it becomes a recurring problem.

The thing is, I have never crafted/sold 2 of those 4 tools before. I am 100% sure of it. It just weirds me out.

How can you be sure? You look like a crafter main, you remember what you crafted 3 years ago?
You are sure you didn't give tools away once or put them in guild treasure chest etc.

While I strongly think it is one of those things, it could be possible I guess, your name is only restricted to your server, but with worldserver being a thing now, a player with the same weird name as yours could have been crafting those items and sold them on his server and they made it to your server, or, that person transfered server to yours and namechanged because you already had that name, but the items still have his old name on them. So it is not impossible, just very unlikely.
Could also be that someone hacked into your account, crafted those items and gave it to someone else before you noticed, then put them up on the marketboard just to confuse you. Who knows I guess
