As far as I know, the only AOEs that will affect non-combatants are the AoEs from the elite hunt marks. I've watched many players die to marks like the Mudman before they even have a chance to land and get on its enmity table, and one train 3 players AFK at the Duskbloom node in Amh Araeng got wiped out when Maliktender sent 990,000 Needles their direction.Just a heads up. I was able to invite one of the gathering bots who is (very likely) supplying end game mats to the crafting bots/market bots... They are invincible (unaffected by aoes) and will still teleport while in combat.
I'm aware that MPK'ing is against ToS. Please dont state the obvious. IDGaF
Monster Player Kill. Basically it's using a game's combat NPC in such a way that it kills a player character that wasn't engaged with the combat (such as intentionally kiting a monster with a cleave next to a player engaged in another activity when there was no reason to kite the monster in the first place).
It's something many players like to do to bots if a game's mechanics will allow it but even if a bot it's generally still against TOS and can result in account action if reported.

On which mobs? Because I've had other players in combat near me before when I wasn't without taking damage.\
Guess it doesn't really matter in either case. You're still in danger of account action if something happens and the other player chooses to report. SE doesn't not take MPKs lightly compared to some other MMOs.
