Sorry OP, no matter how you spin it, it won't, and shouldn't happen outside of maybe a quest reward from the absolute final battle against the ascians/zodiark, with lore justification as to why we can now possess these robes.
If the speculation about the MC as a former Convocation member pans out, they will potentially have a glyph of their own anyway. Imagine if the present occupant of that office is a shard of the departed member, and those shards eventually merge with the MC.

I hope we will eventually be able to get their robes and the MC's own glyph.

I also don't buy the "confusing" line. If you can show up in a bikini and not have that be "confusing", we can suspend disbelief too for a "villain's" outfit - like Theodric mentioned, they've already done it with Edda. They can do it in the future with other nice outfits, like Zenos's or Emet's, or Regula's. There's no real issue.
