Steps:
Note: For the steps below, we will use the housing item "White Partition" as our example, but the steps apply for any housing item.
1. Enter estate where player has furnishing placement privileges (apartment/Free Company estate/private housing/FC Private Quarters)
2. Enter furnishing placement mode (Social > Housing > Indoor Furnishings)
3. Place or Store any indoor furnishing item (e.g. "White Partition")
4. Select "Search Placed/Stored Furnishings"
5. Perform a search using full name of the item with improper capitalization (e.g. "white partition")
- The placed or stored item will not be found
6. Perform a search using only one of the words in the item name with improper capitalization (e.g. "partition")
- The placed or stored item will not be found
7. Perform a search using full name of the item with proper capitalization (e.g. "White Partition")
- The placed or stored item will be found
8. Perform a search using only one of the words in the item name with proper capitalization (e.g. "Partition")
- The placed or stored item will be found (Along with other items that match query)
9. Perform a search using only one of the words in the item name, but omit the first letter (e.g. "artition")
- The placed or stored item will be found (Along with other items that match query)
Note: This step makes for an interesting work-around if the player is unsure of the correct capitalization of the item name

Note: Issue also will occur in outdoor furnishings mode as well
