I just hope none of my older threads are revived.

People in this playerbase love to claim there's nothing wrong with the appearance or animations of the races... and yet most of those people play Mi'qote because of the care put on their faces and quality and expressiveness of their animation.
Races can be distinct without being offputting. No one can say with a straight face male Au'ra and Elezen animations look fine. Or Hrothgar stances. Or Midlander animations and face options.
Aside from Viera, Lalafel and Mi'qote, the design of every race in the game makes the bias against them extremely apparent.

I have a female Miqo'te among my various alts and I don't see any more care put into their models or animations than others. Maybe it's a design that more people find appealing, but that doesn't say anything for the quality of it – personally I find them one of the least interesting races I've played.
And yes I will say with a straight face that (at least not having played one) Hrothgar's stance looks fine for that particular character design. The hunch makes more sense than a beastlike race having a fully human body posture.
Some of the animations for other races can be gawky, but Miqo'te isn't perfect either. Their hip-swaying walk looks silly in cutscenes.

Miqo faces are kind of... Off tho....People in this playerbase love to claim there's nothing wrong with the appearance or animations of the races... and yet most of those people play Mi'qote because of the care put on their faces and quality and expressiveness of their animation.

And the tail and ear clipping..... Ugh...
