    Dear SE, You Keep Nerfing Crafting But Can You QoL Collectible Turn-ins?

    I understand that you want to make crafting more accessible for people, so while these crafting nerfs are annoying, they provide value to the greater population and that makes them worth it.

    Taking gil from collectible turn-ins was ridiculous but whatever, at this stage you're stripping the entire crafting system into nothing, so can we at least have a QoL change to how collectibles are turned in?

    The one by one turn-in method is needlessly time consuming and the scrip cap of 2000 is not enough.

    For the well prepared crafters, we prep our collectible turn-ins the night before a patch, meaning that we already have the scrips waiting in inventory. Inventory which is a big problem for most users of the game unless you're like me and have every retainer ever.

    Now that you're making collectibles static in 5.3, there really isn't a reason to have the scrip cap so low. Can we at least have it doubled to 4000 for the lesser scrip (yellow) in this case?

    Please reconsider the ENTIRE crafters experience and add in QoL benefits to the ease of use of these in-game systems while you continue to nerf crafting into the ground.

    The one QOL change I want to see if the removal of Crystals as reagents.

    It does nothing but provide a market to bots and gil sellers.

    Veteran healers don't care if we need to heal, but right now we don't. We want interesting things to do during the downtime other than a 30s dot and a single filler spell that hasn't changed from lvl 4 to lvl 90.
    Dead DPS do no DPS. Raised DPS do 25/50% lower DPS. Do the mechanics and don't stand in bad stuff.
    Other games expect basic competence, FFXIV is pleasantly surprised by it. Other games have toxic elitism. FFXIV has toxic casualism.[/LIST]

    It works if you're making minions/bardings that take 99 of them. Crystals house aether, aether is used for creation and being (see: The Empty), we craft and therefore we create.

    It's my headcanon that all crafters use raw material and aether to actually creation magic things into existence. And for finer detailing, there is handiwork that comes after.

    I like this. And in a way, perhaps that's the leftover of Creation magic we have from the Ascian heritage.

    Yeah, considering how much SE is stripping out, I'm not advocating that they focus on people's livelihoods. Just requesting that the left over systems from this purge be reviewed as well for efficiency.

    While they're at it, get rid of rubber and remove it from all footwear recipes. Or if they're feeling really adventurous, add a system where any material that can be bought from an NPC can be auto-paid-for from your gil if you synth without having it in your inventory.

    That would be incredibly convenient. If you don't have it in your inventory, the game assumes you want to vendor it and just charges you. That seems like a dream lol. I dunno if we'll ever get that but that would also be a nice crafting QoL change.

    For me the possibility to turn multiple collectibles in of the same kind at once instead of one would be already more than enough. Im pretty sure this should be doable since there are already npcs where you need to hand over more than one item.
