why did they change the way the firmanent progress par increases.

when ishgard restoration first started the progress bar was quite precise, it moved forward millimiter by millimeter and you had a pretty good idea when it was going to complete, now it just moves forward by large chunks, which means if you want to make sure you don't miss concerted works, you have to stand in the firmanent for hours when the progress bar is one step away from finishing and it can take a very long time sometimes, combine that with the fact that the wait time to reduced to 30 minutes, that if you're just having fun in the game and not paying attention constantly, there's a good chance you'll miss the concerted works. I'd like to request they change it back to the way it was when they start the next phase.

I don't get why the timer is 30 minutes when the bar fills for a fate to begin but the website on lodestone tracking it only updates every hour. It's really beyond me what it's not a half hour or the fate time should be an hour. It's beyond frustrating and hopefully they'll change it for the next patch.

does it even matter? theres nothing special happening at fates except "click 5 times on some stuff and done". Everyone is able to see the results, no matter if they "participated" or not

Thank you devs, it seemed to listened to me, the bar seems to moving at far smaller increments this phase. I know this likely wasn't due to my post specifically, but thank you anyway.

They've tried to make it more obscure so that there isn't a huge rush the very second the fate starts, so that it isn't over in mere seconds.

But of course people just adapt to these measures by camping in the zone for hours...
