Art Book Cover: WHO AND WHAT?

I haven't finished the MSQ yet, so I understand there are some things that will happen that I just don't know about yet. It's cool, that's fine. But I really need some help with this image.

It's the cover of the new art book. Clearly that's supposed to be Y'shtola, Alphinaud, and Alisaie. I'm guessing that's Thancred on the left (he unlocked either Gunbreaker or Machinist, apparently?), which is confirmed by some other artwork. Said other artwork also tells me that the blond is supposedly Minfilia/some other name, which I am sure I will soon learn about in the MSQ. I've already learned about "The Minfilias." I don't know who the dark-haired guy is, maybe the Warrior of Darkness?

But here is my real question: Who is that all the way on the right? It looks like Cid's head, but they're wearing a dress & I don't see Cid becoming an Astrologian. So who is that supposed to be? Please tell me it's not Cid. I really hope it's either someone I haven't met yet, or maybe that robed guy who is giving me MSQs at the moment. >_>

It's not a dress, it's a robe. (Lv80 AST relic gear to be exact, like Thancred gets the gunbreaker relic gear.)

But yes, it's Urianger, and the dark-haired guy is our regular player stand-in guy in his ShB-trailer dark knight mode.

Also, play the Lv50 Crystal Tower raid series if you haven't done so yet. They are basically part of MSQ at this point and take place prior to Shadowbringers.

Right, Y'shtola, Thancred and Urianger all change Jobs in ShB. As Iscah and Gula above said, it will all be explained when you play through the storyline (gameplay wise it's also to provide a character from each role for the new Trust System introduced with ShB that allows you to do story dungeons in ShB solo).

Although, if you've seen the ShB trailer (the prerendered opening movie) their new Jobs would have already been shown anyway. But yes, Urianger is AST in ShB.
