    Backstep isn't really doing it when melees have an extended melee range in PvP. And every melee has a gapcloser.

    Think the point is they could be balanced more to actually make them more worthwhile in comparison to the popular ones, they aren't bad by nature. The best option would probably be to include them all in your kit, would mean more gameplay variety but also more buttons than 1 hotbar can fit. Oh noes.

    For Feast environment, it may be so; but back step has good synergy with Elusive Jump, Shukuchi, and Soten on frontline.
    It is often a good combo to bait enemy range to step into our tank's kill-zone for stun and knock back/draw in.
