People are stupid and will often just hit "yes" on a vote dismiss prompt without actually looking at who's being kicked if someone says something to suggest someone needs to be kicked.

I've seen the "AFK" players be the ones to initiate the dismiss on the ones calling them out because they know people will often take the bait.

Yeah, it's a real shame. Luckily it's only happened to me once in...seven years of playing the game, so I won't lose any sleep over it.
