Not everyone does, but that doesn't mean that the info won't be posted by a community rep or placed onto the Lodestone later on down the line. Until one of those things happen, ppl will read what you type and think "what on earth is he talking about?".

"こんばんは。
Good evening,
Previously we have mentioned you will be able to teleport into the Inn but after receiving everyone's feedbacks we decided to change the system to the following:
テレポでは宿屋には飛べない。
Can't teleport to inside the Inn
You will be able set home point aside from the regular home point specifically for the Inn (2nd homepoint but just for Inn)
You can only set Inn to 1 city
If there is anything else please continue to leave feedbacks, thanks.Yep that's it
So technically you can do..
1 - Inn HP - Limsa
2 - Aetheryte HP - Ul'dah "
Thanks for that Reinheart
So with that in mind, traveling is going to be even easier!
Well, just a thought, but every class has MP, so they could have a sacrifice MP option for teleport. Your MP would have to be full, and then it would use all your MP to tele you. Then you have to let MP regen, or if something quicker like ethers. Might even boost sales of ethers. Or have to wait for MP to regen. Not that im against anima, but could be another option?! ^^
Well i was thinking that the use of MP, would keep to the lore of magic use to tele. Not just another cool down timer, just a thougt.
If they do remove anima, here's my 2 cents.
Have Grand Companies issue Anima crystals. One usage per, relatively cheap seals cost. You have to be level 30 to acquire them, but you can use them to teleport anyone in your party.
This does a few things:
- keeps teleportation within the context of the game
- Gives new players something to work for
- Requires that new players explore their surroundings until level 30.
At the same time, levequest counters should give the option to teleport the player to a camp (after aligning with node) and back, once per earth day. This allows for casual players to still get their hour's worth of game in before they hit level 30.
Griss I really like that idea that or just require folk to be at an ayther to teleport, when quest require you to travel the whole continent and you dont want to spend 20 min to run somewhere you can blow through anima really quickly.Excuse me while I ramble on for a bit.
Back during testing we were able to port around la nocea or at least what we had access to at will. The only requisite was that you actually had to make the trip your self once. Aethers are really just tarted up way points no mater how you look at them.
I wonder what the reaction would be if they keep the limiter that anima represents but change how it acts?
What if they scrap anima and replace it all together with a cool down timer? Something along the lines of the length of the timer they put on return when they yanked its anima cost. Perhaps a bit longer though.
It keeps porting a some what finite resource but one that is far easier to manage. Though with this change it might be best to allow travel directly to the aether nodes via teleportation. Though something would have to be hashed out in the event that a party member had not touched that particular node.
Though with this solution you would have to use your ports for long distance travel like they were kind of intended for.
Tl:dr: Pull anima costs replace it with a global cool down timer. Walk your ass to black brush from uldah.
