    windows 10 antimalware service executable causes huge frame drops

    I've been noticing that every so often, my game's performance goes very poorly. I checked Windows Task Manager when this started to happen, and it looks like the built-in Windows Antimalware Service Executable was running heavily on my CPU at the same time, so I think that may be responsible.

    Do you have suggestions on how to resolve this problem? It causes huge performance problems in the game. I've heard of similar things happening to games like Monster Hunter World, and it sounded like developers needed to do something to cooperate with the Windows antimalware service executable?

    If the Windows Antimalware Service Executable is taking up all of the CPU resources, it will not allow the game to run properly. Unfortunately, we do not have control over that executable. We do apologize for the inconvenience.
