MCH is not carpal tunnel friendly IMO strictly due to its frequent Overheat burst windows, as you need to be spamming Ricochet/Gauss Round between Heated Blast uses to avoid losing a rather significant amount of damage.

Agree with this. If you really like the idea of MCH then don't let anyone stop you of course. I'm sure interest and enjoyment will let you figure out a way to make it work for you. But, as someone who doesn't even have wrist/hand issues I find MCH to be rather physically taxing to play. It's not only an extremely active burst window but it's also a very frequent one.

That's not a bad choice, RDM is rather straightforward.

Good choice! It has slightly more actions per minute than a black mage but is easier to play well.

Now, if the melee bug bites you, I'd suggest monk. I suffer from fibromyalgia, which causes pain and difficulty in concentration, and I have found monk easier the dragoon. Although, I have to say, dragoon is more enjoyable.

I'm pretty sure monk has the fastest GCD in the game with the 4th GL stack. It's still less busy than NIN because less oGCDs and no mudras, but yeah.

Why suggest that. Just have the classes gutted and nerfed into one button spam fests, as you all prefer. Actual untreated CT becomes chronic and is aggravated by almost anything at all. Making the whole thing a fairly moot excuse. Play less and adjust is the solution, not throwing a pity party in a veiled attempt at 'its not fair that these aren't as dumbed down too, so that I can only play certain ones.' Not saying that is the OP's implication this time but I sure can imagine it being someone elses follow on at some stage.
