Request to turn off Quest complete music in the options.

I can't stand this music.
After making 4 characters, I feel I should be able to at least adjust it or turn it off if the Dev team won't address the issue.

The music is annoying (Quite frankly) and it's not even good.



I'd even welcome a quick sound effect, not a big drawn out 7 second jingle...



For EVERYTHING that gets accomplished when My retainer just brought me back a Goobbue Dye. That's nothing to be proud of.


Most of the Junk it tries to make me feel that I've accomplished something is annoying.




One last thing, I like the music but I've had it on Mute for some years now. That's all i like about FINAL FANTASY (Nobuo Uematsu) I look forward to the day I have music in FFXIV again.

The Grand Company turn in one gets me the most. I wish it was just like... maybe just a check list where we can pick everything we want to turn in and submit them all at once. If not that, at least stop looping this music when I have 20 pieces of gear to dump.

Yeah, I like that too. I'd welcome any change other than what we have now.

Or just remove it completely lol So we don't even have to Acknowledge it as a community.

I know this was posted a few months ago, but I would LOVE an option to disable the quest/venture tune. I actually have a macro to toggle the bgm specifically for when I reset ventures. @.@ When you have 7+ retainers and you're resetting them all one after another, that little completion tune gets really annoying... And sometimes I'm just really enjoying the music in areas or houses and don't want to mute it just to avoid the venture jingle.

The one I don't like the most is the ShB one. Also Heavensward was pretty pipey and bad too. XD but yes they all get to grating on me after a while.

I would like to join this cause and request a toggle to turn this music jingle dingle thing off or at least down. It cannot be difficult as it is one file that plays this, and should be able to remove it altogether. Please do something about this!!!

I generally don't mind the Quest Complete or Quest Accepted fanfare, but going through the Endwalker MSQ recently, it really ruins the mood of what's going on in the story when it just triumphantly interrupts w/e song has continued since the last cutscene, either ruining a hype moment or a somber one.

Please let us mute it without muting all of the bgm!

This would be nice. It gets really awkward whenever you're in a serious moment like someone is dying and you have QUEST ACCEPTED in fanfare. It changes the mood and makes it feel really weird.

GC Turn-ins sounds should have options to be muted.
Bulk turn-ins for Grand Companes with check list sounds cool as well. Could also me implemented for retainers buld " Venture Resending"
