    ERROR 3109 with active subscription

    Hello

    On May 16, 2020, I was charged subscription fee on my service account 1 (I have 2 service accounts, 2nd is Steam, 1st one is normal)
    BUT I can't login on that my FF XIV Service account 1.
    It still gives me 3109 error - FF XIV not registered or subscruption expired.

    I have all add-ons on that account and 27 (sigh) remaining days of play.
    But I can't play, because I'm getting that Error 3109 trying to log on that account like I haven't paid. But I paid in full. You charged my cc right in time, dear SE

    I tried to write to support. No help at all in 4 days already... (ticket 13341955)
    Meanwhile my subscription days keep expiring ((

    PLEASE check this problem someone from SE... I really hope for your help

    Are you using the correct version of client? steam and non-steam uses different clients now and can't be used interchangeable any longer. You get that error when using wrong client.

    I totally forgot about that steam/no steam stuff O.o

    It works now, problem solved

    One thing though - it could be great if the error message was more informative - like "you are using wrong client version", not "you have no subscription" which is confusing
