Not Another RDM Thread! (New Verwater / Verblizzard Idea)

Okay, all, I may sound like a broken record about Verwater / Verblizzard to be introduced into the RDM rotation so here’s another one.
[Yes, we’re not developers, and I doubt they’d ever look at the forums for advice, but wth, I enjoy spit-balling]

Not wanting to sound too convoluted so I’ll break it down:

So, let’s say they remove the following Spells:

    Jolt – Remove –
    • Add Verwater
    • Verthunder as Dual cast catalyst spell

    Instead of Jolt >> Ver(Strong)
    It would be:
    Verwater (W) >> Verthunder (B)
    Or
    Verthunder (B) >> Veraero (W)

    Impact – Becomes the following:
    • Verflood
    • Verfreeze
ALL Depending on which Mana meter is LOWER the spell [Impact] Becomes the lower Mana Meter side.

Scatter – Verwater II / Verblizzard II lower levels

    Scorch – Remove for:
    • Ver(Quake)
    • Ver(Burst)

If White Mana is HIGHER than Black >> Ver(BURST) Lightning

If Black Mana is HIGHER than White >> Ver(QUAKE) Earth

Or it could be flipped, Quake / Freeze could be the single target powerhouse.

    -
And instead, they add Jolt time-based based Ver-(Spells) in their place.

    Verwater – 2s – Deals Water damage with a potency of 280 – White Mana +8

    Verthunder – 2s – Deals Lightning damage with a potency of 280 – Black Mana +8

[New hard cast in replace of Verthunder]

Verblizzard [Becoming new long cast] – 5s – Deals Ice damage with a potency of 370 – Black Mana + 11

    -
By removing a few spells that yeah, makes the RDM have a series of their own unaspected DPS spells not tied to BLM/WHM, we’re adding in the entire elemental wheel + Adding all four powerhouse finishers in the process.

How would it change the rotation? (DC = Dualcast)

    Verwater >> Verblizzard (DC) >> Verfire >> = 8 White / 20 Black
    Verthunder >> Veraero (DC) >> Verstone = 8 Black / 20 White

    Old Rotation:
    Jolt (3/3) >> Veraero (11W) >> Verstone (9W) = 3B / 23W
    Jolt (3/3) >> Verthunder (11B) >> Verfire (9B) = 3 W / 23 B
    -
[Let’s expand the rotation] (Black mana / White mana) Generation #’s
    Verwater (0/8) >> Verblizzard (11/8) >> Verfire (20/8) >> Veraero (20/19) >> Verstone (20/28)>> Verblizzard (31/28) [No Proc.] >> Verwater (31/36) >> Verblizzard (42/36) >> Verfire (51/36) >> Veraero (51/47)

It wouldn’t considerably change the way the flow of the job works, it would expediate it’s mana generation by a few numbers, which in turn would lead us to the finishers faster.
    -
Would it steal too much off BLM’s and WHM’s identity?
Would it lose its identity because we removed those unaspected spells (Jolt / Impact / Scorch)?
Is Water and Blizzard even something the community wants to see?

If you read and understood what I said, awesome, chime in if you have a comment:

It sounds like you have a fundamental misunderstanding of the RDM rotation, because this isn't what RDM currently entails, at all.
