Mogstation Account Bugged

I was told by Square Enix Support to create bug report via forums.

I have been in a long hiatus playing ffxiv. I haven't played since Heavensward and when I reactivated my sub, I transferred an existing character from Goblin home world to Midgardsormr. I did this in October. Upon the transfer, my Mogstation account would not register the change. It still showed my character, Nakash Ezhno on Goblin still. I contacted support and they told me to wait a couple days. I waited. Nothing changed. Mogstation was still showing Nakash Ezhno on Goblin. I thought this was bug but just to be sure (because leveling potions cost a lot of money) I purchased the optional item Blackflame Lord's Yukata. As come to find out, I did not receive my item. So I contacted support. The game master was able to get my purchase to me. However, when I told him what the issue was, he just told me that I deleted my character and I was lucky that it was done relatively quickly because it was just deleted. I told him that the character is not deleted, I transferred him. Didn't believe me and just ignored it.

Not caring if I used that character or not sense I was going to purchase a leveling potion regardless, I decided to create a new character and purchase the leveling potion that way. Created new character. Mogstation didn't show him. Contacted support. Said to give it some time. Did. Still not showing new character 8 months later.

Endless back and forth over this ensued for several months. Briefly interrupted by COVID-19. The issue was trying to communicate the issue. It was hard because essentially Square Enix Support was seeing one thing and I the other. Long story short, I originally had a character with the same name on Goblin. I deleted this character and then a few years later created another one with the same name. I then transferred this character (Nakash Ezhno) to Midgardsormr (hence the Lala named Nakash Ezhno to my left).



Above is an screenshot I took today, currently of my Mogstation account character list. As you can see, Nakash Ezhno is showing Goblin.


If I were to try and purchase an optional item, this is what would appear as my choices. As you can tell, Nakash Ezhno Midgradsormr character is not a present choice.



If I click that I want to send it to Nakash Ezhno in Goblin, as you can see, this clearly isn't my character. My character is a Lala as seen to your left, my Forum account I have set to Nakash Ezhno in Midgardsormr. Unfortunately I cannot verify this because I used a fantasia to change my appearance, but the image is what Nakash Ezhno looked like when I transferred him back in October 2019.



When I log into my Final Fantasy 14 Online via my PS4, this is an image of my character screen. NOTE** that I have Nakash Ezhno as well as Delano Akuji, the character I created back in October 2019. Notice how he did not show up on Mogstation.

This is currently my Character Selection on Goblin. Notice how there is no Nakash Ezhno (or Whata Guy).



Go back to my character selection. Do you notice how it says I have two characters on Faerie. Crevan Remington and The Arrow. Well they were deleted in October yet they are still showing on my Mogstation Account.


This account has not been touched since 6/08/2017. Before the Data Center change. Nakash Ezhno who was on Goblin prior to the Data Center change. Goblin was part of Aether Data Center. Now it's part of Crystal Data Center. I do not know if that has something to do with it. Maybe something got corrupted when I tried to transfer Nakash from Crystal to Aether. I do not know. Maybe it's not the case.

I hope this helps Support verify that there is something definitely wrong with my account. I just want to purchase optional items. And I cannot do this because as shown, Mogstation will not register new created characters or transferred existing characters. It also shows deleted characters are still active.

Also should mention Lodestone verifies my transfer and new characters created. This only, for some reason, strictly a Mogstation issue.

Edit 5/20/20. I had a fantasia from old veteran rewards. I did not purchase the fantasia. I had in my inventory from the old Veteran rewards system.
