Outfits from other FF games you'd like to see

I'm interested to see what people would think would be worthy additions to the game in regards to outfit choices from other FF games. I know it's a contentious subject for some and I wasn't thrilled about every walking around in Advent Children Cloud gear, but that can of worms has already been opened and all these different outfits have gifted us with bits and pieces that look good with a wide range of options, so I'm optimistic.

Here's my quick-list:

SOLDIER 3rd Class (FF7 Remake)


Throughout the years I liked the SOLDIER outfits from the FF7 games well enough, they looked fine for the characters shown wearing it, but these new designs from the Remake really wowed me. I really like the new gloves and the new take on the chest and shoulders, I think it would really look great for those going for a tactical or light armored look I know would get use on my gunbreaker or machinist glamours.

Cyan (FF6)


Cyan will always be my platonic ideal of a samurai in an FF game. I love the blend of light armor with cloth underneath with a cool cape. I still hold out hope for an AF samurai set inspired by this outfit in the future, but I could settle for other ways.

Al-Cid Margrace (FF12, FFTA2)


I love the Ivalice setting. I was ecstatic when the Ivalice raid series was announced and I love that Matsuno is writing a continuation of it for the new Relic questline this expansion. I hold out hope that the whatever the next online FF game might be it will be set in Ivalice. While I love the Ivalice designs that have already made it into the game, and would relish outfits like Basch or Ashley Riot's, I always found Al-Cid to be a real standout despite his small role. The outfit itself is a real great blend of "modern" look but with a strong fantastical bend and some really nice looking leather designs with the boots and pants. It would also be cool to have another pair of sunglasses that are slightly larger.

Anyone else have any thoughts?

Hmm... I'd really like to see ones that are inspired by other games but not really the same as a specific character or factions outfit. Which is probably a tall order.

I think that's why I like the new SOLDIER 3rd Class outfit, it's reminiscent of the earlier games and of Zack and Cloud, but since it's clothing numerous grunts wear it not exactly the iconic outfit for a main character.

Aerith's original FFVII outfit (I'd take her AC and Remake redesigns, but I prefer her original outfit with the clunky metal cuffs).
Garnet's princess gown from FFIX
Celes's opera dress from FFVI
Yuna's default 'Gunner' outfit from FFX-2
Lightning's 'Etro's Champion' armour from FFXIII-2.

But mostly just Aerith's original outfit (dress, bolero jacket, boots and hair ribbon, with Guard Stick to boot) I would love to have for my WHM.

I want Exdeath's armor. Would make a great RDM set. Really though I want Gabranth's armor since it already exists in-game and maybe the job he represents with dual wielding blades and using magic and runes.

All of the current gear are ones hetero males can wear. And there is plenty of diversity when it comes to the armor options.
