I see that you've joined the house market discord. Read the FAQ and info channels for first time buyers,it'll tell you how the procedure normally goes. There are examples of in-game contracts. Also GMs take trade fraud seriously if you have an in-game contract.
Is this really written somewhere or just some rdm statement to lure in good faith players? I have spoken to someone whos maybe selling his FCs, but i have really some trust issues with other players in this game since its so easy to betray someone and you have zero security in sutch a trade. Basicly he could just wait until you give him all the money and than log off or something like that. I would highly prefer getting ldr first before i pay anything. I can guarantee that I will keep my part of the deal, but i dont trust other ppl.

"Fraud" Fraud is an act of deception intended to deprive a player of his or her full enjoyment of the game or a player’s property. Fraud occurs most often in agreements between players for trade, loot, or betting:
- Trade fraud: Fraud relating to the exchange of items or in-game services.
- Loot fraud: Fraud relating to loot distribution.
- Bet fraud: Fraud relating to the gambling of gil or other possessions on the outcomes of in-game events (Please note that gambling on the outcomes of events outside of the game, or the gambling of anything other than in-game gil or possessions, is strictly prohibited).

Which, is why an in-game contract is important.
Eh, two man FC's are a legitimate thing. My own FC is just that - consisting of my character and my partner's character. It might not be the case in the OP's situation but with so many FC's being a den for drama then there's a lot of appeal in the two man model.Boy you've made a lot of housing threads lately. Secondly, your FC consists of you and someone whose max level is 59, so I'm assuming it's an alt. So drop the 'FC's should get preferential treatment' schtick because you're a solo FC and are just trying to get an unfair advantage.
Also some of us are family-only (admittedly this can be a different sort of drama..!). Me and my daughter are currently the only subscribed players in our FC, Husband subs on occasion. We have other family members who have played in the past so if they did again, we'd invite them to join too, but mostly it's just me and my kid. Not adding anyone I don't know in person to our FC as a result.
Can we please purge all Dead FC or have a cap to even consider buying plots. I ain’t naming names but so far not a single plot opened from the many dead FCs I’ve joined and some of my friends left the game years ago and still have their plot
FC have timers too. If house still up, it means someone from the FC still accessing that.
Just because you don't see them doesn't mean they are't active. Besides the demo timer is OFF right now anyways. Regardless, back on topic.
Before recently the only thing that is different from player to FC housing was the workshop and being solo meant nothing because you couldn't do any of the projects.(now you can) but that was only recent
It makes little difference, anyone can make a FC and have it SOLO which does nothing for what SE was trying to accomplish.
Yes and no? The risk comes from the player interaction (you could get ripped off) Not GM interaction (as long as RMT isnt involved) Over the last few years and few server transfers I have purchased and sold a few FC's/Houses with zero issue.(take it how you will)
