Plz Shorten the timer for FC plot buying attempt!

Well right now im a solo FC and yea my main intention is the workshop, so im would be really happy if the workshop could be used by everyone even ppl without an FC. I already thought about inviting more players but a FC without a house feels simply wrong.
I heard about the discord thing, but i will not participate it something like that. Stuff like that shouldn't be allowed in the first place. Sadly i couldnt find a player so far that would sell his FC with house.

So it's really just a personal house for you in that case since you're solo. Why should you get treated differently?

You should have done it back in 5.1. Not SE's fault you couldn't be bothered.

To give you the benefit of the doubt that you're really mainly intrested in using the workshop: I'm sure there are plenty FCs who dont use their workshop and wouldnt mind renting it to you.

Besides that this seems like nothing more than a thinly vailed attempt to give yourself - and only yourself, seeing how your FC has 2 members - a better shot at getting a house. Really makes one wish they'd reinstate the rule that in order to purchase a house an FC needs at least 4 (?active?) members...

I do agree with detaching the workshop from the housing, though - that way claims like "Its more important for an FC to get a house!" will become even less valid.

Unpopular opinion... but honestly I was always of the mind that a FC shouldn’t be able to buy a house without a minimum number of members (say..4)... I also believe at least 4 different member should log in in a certain period to prevent demolition (not visit the house, just that the Fc has members playing). If you have fewer than 4 people, just get a personal house and invite friends as tenants.

There’s no reason to giving a FC preferential treatment to get a house when it is ultimately just a second personal house.

Fortunately for those that disagree with me, SE also seems to agree with you, thus 1 man FCs and fake FC house flippers can scoop up the supply all day long, leaving us back where we started whining about lack of supply.

I don't know what was different in 5.1 and yea maybe i decide to try out the workshop stuff a bit late. However its frustrating if you want to do something in this game and you cant, since weeks. I have prepared everything i can all its missing is just the damm plot. Also just because my FC has now 2 ppl that dosnt mean it will stay that way. Like i already said a FC without a house is not a complete FC and i will not bother other players with something where the half is missing.

I would have no issue with the 4 ppl think if it was the rule, but there is no sutch requirement.

For a certain amount of time having 4 or more members was actually a requirement to purchase a plot as FC - "A free company may only purchase land if it has four or more members." https://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodes.../housing_land/

Btw. if i try buying an FC with a plot from another player like suggested, its a big risk for me. Is there any kind of system that prevents the other player of betraying me or a possibility to do something if got betrayed during a trade?

I see that you've joined the house market discord. Read the FAQ and info channels for first time buyers,it'll tell you how the procedure normally goes. There are examples of in-game contracts. Also GMs take trade fraud seriously if you have an in-game contract.

Nasty opinion, but instead of having a thousand FCs containing one or two members, it would be far better to simply join / revive an existing FC that already got a house. If all you care for is the workshop, than you practically make your own life difficult by insisting on having an own FC.

In 5.1 new wards were added and those were "FC-only" for quite some time.

If its the workshop you're intrested in: Try asking around if there are any FCs that would let you use theirs - not everyone will have their workshop busy all the time.

The 4 player requirement actually used to be a thing, to bad they removed it, though.

To clarify somethings, you need 4 characters in your FC to purchase a house from the system. They can all be your alts though and can leave after purchasing the plot.

Secondly for those saying solo FCs shouldn't be a thing:

Blame SE for gating gil generating assets behind housing (Workshop,Submarines/Garden/Flowerpot)

A FC house can generate ~5m gil weekly as a low baseline with 4 max rank BiS submarines.

I used to be in normal FCs on different servers and my experience has been only very few people in the FC work/get rewarded for using the workshop.

The workshop should not be FC content but instead individual content.

Also GMs take trade fraud seriously if you have an in-game contract.

Is this really written somewhere or just some rdm statement to lure in good faith players? I have spoken to someone whos maybe selling his FCs, but i have really some trust issues with other players in this game since its so easy to betray someone and you have zero security in sutch a trade. Basicly he could just wait until you give him all the money and than log off or something like that. I would highly prefer getting ldr first before i pay anything. I can guarantee that I will keep my part of the deal, but i dont trust other ppl.
