Most powerful primals

Greetings everyone.

I am a new player to FF14, i remember watching a launch trailer for Shadowbringers at E3 and hearing that Hydaelyn and Zodiark are not only gods but also the most ancient and powerful of primals.
This made me wonder if we will get to see them in any form in them game and if there is even others more powerful than these 2 primals?
Will we get to see them at any point in the game or even more powerful entities?

In a non-related topic, as mentioned before i am a new player, i have joined FF14 after being done with WoW, i am enjoying the journey so far, just finished Stormblood.
I wonder if FF14 will keep going for years to come, i know that that depends on how much the game will keep being successful but also Yoshi P stated that he would like the game to keep going for 10 years and this was said in 2017 where they reached their 4th year...i'm just afraid to have joined the journey at the end if you know what i mean.

Firstly, Hello and Welcome, glad you are enjoying the story.

Regarding Hydaelyn and Zodiark, we technically have seen forms of them in the game: The giant floating blue crystal for Hydaelyn; and the giant floating blackish-purple crystal that we briefly see when the Alliance is celebrating the 7th Astral Era is believed to be Zodiark. These aren't their physical forms per se, but rather what they look like in the aetherial sea. Now will we ever see their physical forms? I would love to, and the current story, at the very least, seems to be pointing to an eventual confrontation with Zodiark, but whether that be next patch or next expansion (or even the next) is up to rampant speculation.

Regarding even more powerful entities, the possibility remains there, but there is (currently) little evidence to suggest that we will confront one (at this point of time). Yoshi-P has stated prior that the Hydaelyn-Zodiark story-line would be considered a sort of 'Season 1' for FFXIV, so a season 2 would (theoretically) have a similarly powerful, or even more so, end-game entity to deal with. When you reach the end of Shadowbringers you might get an inkling of what could be 'the next major story-line' but it isn't in anyways confirmed.

Regarding joining the journey at the end, speaking in purely technical standpoint, our level cap hasn't even reached 99 (or 100) yet, so that's about 2 more expansions worth of leveling (10 levels per expansion like the last 3 have been) they are obligated to give us just to reach that milestone (not really, but they probably will). In terms of lore, there are also many locations in the game world that we know of but have yet to visit ourselves; such as Meracydia, Thavnair, Ilsabard, the Old World and the New World. From what I understood, the 10 years thing was more a minimum MMO life they were aiming for, where they could comfortably wrap up the current story-line. Some people also believe that this meant a point where Yoshi-P would get less involved with the game and pass at least 1 of his 2 roles (Director and Producer) to another member of the team.

All in all, don't worry this game still has life in it yet.
