Either Bring back the Rainmaker hairstyle in the make it rain event, or Put it on the mog station for 3-5 bucks.

It might be back for the event this year. It seems to be available every other year, and last year it wasn't if I remember correctly.

This. I started playing on the tail end of last year and missed some good events, and when I found out about the Rainmaker hair, I was and still am anxious to see it return in some way this year. It didn’t really help that the hair was missing last year and the Make it Rain event hasn’t appeared yet and, even though it seems to typically appear at this time. I’m super anxious.

Is there any news about the event or that?

It usually starts right around now but I'm guessing it, like many other things, is being pushed back a few weeks.

Yeah. I am not sure, but I think the in-game event is inspired by Golden Week in Japan, and happens within about a month of it ending. This year in Tokyo it was replaced with what was basically a stay at home week. Would have been cool if we could have had festivities in FFXIV to make up for it but it's understandable if it gets pushed back.

I dunno. It’s cool that the FFXI event showed up for the people who really wanted it but it also feels like it took out the Make it Rain event which a bunch of people had been waiting for to see if the hairstyle would come back. I really like the Gold Saucer too so that bonus would help the MGP grind too.

I was hoping they would run some more events that they’ve already ran the past for people who have just started or maybe made an alt character that they’re playing as a main that was unable to get the rewards since we have this break in between patches it would be a good time to start them up.

The event being late might actually have to with the patch delay. Here’s to hoping it will appear with the hairstyle soon.
