That's... actually not a bad idea!

I've been thinking that GEO could have a stance-based system where some of their spells (Qi, Malediction, Evocation) change between elements and effects based on the stance they're in. Earth for raw damage and defense, water for support and utility, wind for mobility and crowd control. Having a Wind stance straight up include Float-type effects as a sort of Lightspeed would actually be a great tie-in to the job's history.
