Endgame content is too stressfull and difficult

The problem is not only the missing mid-tier challenge, but a big problem lies within the tomestone gear. It is so good that it makes every other content except savage raids obsolete. Why investing time to get the normal mode raid gear, relic gear or 24-man raid gear?
Just run expert roulette and you are good.

Or just ignore the boring roulettes and buy a set of crafted gear from the MB.
Plenty good enough, and takes all of five minutes to get.

It might still be worth investing time to get some of the other gear - for glamour, which we all know is the real endgame.

Actually, the majority of players are quite helpful. Youtube is full of videos, the Balance discord exists and their are numerous class guides from high end players who put hours into them just so it could help others enjoy endgame too. If you post a legitimate question on the class section of the forums here, you'll usually get help and advice. Statics help each other. FC's are happy to help people willing to improve.

The issue is when you aren't willing to improve or learn and instead want the content we enjoy ripped from us and turned into something you enjoy. That's just selfish.

Get over yourself. You aren’t that special. Really, for all the effort you’ve put into arguing about how elitist everyone else is—you could have put some of that to bettering yourself at Savage content.

Endgame content shouldn’t be nerfed because you don’t want to bother improving yourself.

The problem is that the content is stress inducing due to the low margin of error and people like you who fly off the handle when someone messes up. We suggested that an intermediate step would be helpful and you and your buddies balked at that.

There already is an intermediate step: Extreme Primals.

But you claimed even that was too difficult. At which point... maybe you need to accept it isn't the content but yourself that needs improvement. Alas, it's quite apparent you can't handle criticism given how quickly you've lashed out despite HyoMin's post being neither mean-spirited nor rude. Perhaps don't post on a forum if you only expect widespread agreement. This isn't an echo chamber.

You’re demanding that Savage be made easier. That’s the same as asking for a nerf. There is already an intermediate between other level-cap content and Savage: Extremes. But even that you’re saying is too difficult. Extremes are a far cry from the days of Thordan EX and Sephirot EX. Even Nidhogg EX was more difficult than some of the EX primals ShB has released.

There is actually quite a large margin of error for clearing Savage now. Especially if you have i490 pieces. The only time you really have to concern yourself with making less mistakes is Week 1 when you’re in the new crafted gear. And even then, there are fights that can be killed with deaths. The only fight that I would really call unforgiving this tier would be E8S. Simply because of Light Rampant. But that mechanic as a whole has its own flaws.

“My buddies” and I “balk” at the implication that you’d rather just make EX/Savage more faceroll as opposed to just improving yourself. Again, all the effort you put into whining on here could be translated into bettering yourself at the content. But instead, you choose to complain and ask that it be catered to what you want.

Considering you’ve never partied with me, I can’t say much other than you shouldn’t assume how I would react to mistakes. It’s actually rare that I bother making comments in-game unless someone really makes me angry. Contrary to your presumptions, I am quite forgiving when I realize people are learning. Given that they acknowledge they are learning and don’t pull any “you don’t pay my sub” cards on me when I offer advice.

Nice comparison, comparing posters that disagree with you to the gestapo. Tell me, do you know what the gestapo was? I suggest looking it up before you call any of us that. And you say I’m one prone to flying off the handle. I didn’t just compare you to the gestapo. Of all organizations.

And it's people like you that make me question why I bother with the community anymore. Entitled and or toxic casuals take far too much from the game. People have leveled extremely fair and valid criticism towards you meanwhile you've done nothing be passive aggressive towards those same people? Savage is MEANT to be difficult and if you can't handle it and constantly complain about it, why are you doing it???? And if you think extreme is too hard please, allow me to introduce you to Heavensward EX trials, they some rivaled if not surpassed the difficulty of e7s (even though that's not saying much since e7s is one of the easiest savage fights I've ever played but hey, I like the comparison). They've made this game so much easier and accessible for the years for people like you, yet you're STILL asking for it to be babied even more?
