[Bug?] Fisher's Intuition progress lost on disconnect

I have recently discovered to my dismay that disconnecting will reset Fisher Intuition progress.

Fished up 5+ Green Prismfish
Fished up 3 Indigo Prismfish
(Disconnected)
Fished up 3 Orange Prismfish
=> Fisher's Intuition didn't start

A fix to this issue will be a nice QoL improvement...

Waiting for windows, praying for the RNG for the right mooches and dealing with the high escape rates is torture enough. We don't need another annoyance here.

I don't think that's a bug. Disconnecting is like leaving then re-entering the zone. Most special statuses get reset to prevent players from using disconnect exploits to gain an advantage.

If you're disconnecting often enough for this to bother you, you probably should be checking into why you keep disconnecting and try to get that fixed.

Bad design can be regarded as bugs.
And I will need an example of how disconnecting or changing zones can "exploit" this particular fishing "feature" because I don't see how.

Being able to join instances...etc, will be such a QoL improvement while sitting and waiting between windows.
Letting people take breaks or do other things while saving their FI progress is an exploit? I think not.
And the longer the time needed to proc a FI, the higher the chance of a network hiccup.

That said...currently sitting in my 3rd hour wait (because my last Orange Prismfish refuses to come up) for my next Warden window.

3rd hour was easy.
20th was something else. There'd be times I just left myself there on overnight as I slept IRL.

Got that guy in my aquarium and he isn't going anywhere lol.
