PvP gear sets

Hello everyone.

I am a new player, plus i have been on and off, i wished to know if the gear sets that were launched for Shadowbringers have any weapons to them?

in Stormblood they stopped PVP weapons so second set of SB sets and ShB pvp sets have no weapons sadly

Do they have plans to bring those back? It would feel weird to have those sets without weapons or shield that would fit that gear's theme even for those wishing to use them for glamour purposes.
So there aren't any weapons that fit those gear sets?

It was a gear design contest winner. It didn't have weapons.



Idk if they ever bring weapons back. It felt like the Deepshadow PvE weapons from this expansion fitted way more the hellhound theme. The hellhound PvP weapons on the other hand are the participation reward for feast season and almost pale in comparison now. It would have made more sense to add those to PvP instead of PvE imo.

In general across all content, how much they want to make full sets of weapons is going to require greater and greater investment with each expansion. I noticed for example they never went back and did Primal weapons for the two new jobs. Not only did they not do weapons for the the second set of PvP gear from Stormblood, but the GNB one is just a shrunken down version of the DRK weapon.

Yeah yeah this game makes millions of dollars yada yada though in scope of everything their internal artist are tasked with, even if you compartmentalize it to gear, environments, etc., I can see them wanting to find any area where they can possibly keep scope under control.

I don't mind all the millions they make for me it's not an issue at all i was just wondering if there was a weapon for this set and if not what weapon would go nicely with it for my DRK.

The art was made by a player yeah, the implementation by devs.
You can try alexander prime lvl60 raid weapons or anything shiny I guess. They are dyeable anyway.
