Fate bots issue!

Why is this a thing?! Why is this game so infested with bots! I have been doing fates in Il Mheg now for 2 days and have had to report 3 different bots TWICE! and still nothing is being done!

Is anyone else seeing this?

It only took about a week before the FATE bots started showing up in ShB zones after the expansion's initial release (Though they've been around since the ARR days), and I've been seeing them regularly ever since. Il Mheg is the hotbed for leveling though you'll see people doing it in any of the zones mostly for the sake of farming bi-color crystals.

It's just a sad fact that the XIV enforcement team has proven woefully inadequate when it comes to dealing with illicit activity in general, since I've been repeatedly trying and failing to get certain cheaters on my server banned since the HW days.

Your video is bad. It's doesn't help your case. There are bots everywhere, and that's not going to change much.

Hopefully this will bring attention to the problem seeing as reporting them isn't helping.

Unfortunately there is no name & shaming. This thread will just get nuked like all the others you currently don't see and the problem will persist. Until someone puts together a montage of all these bots on various servers and plasters it onto an IGN/Kotaku article, the player bots will go largely untouched. I firmly believe either the GMs need to have their hands untied from dealing with the bot issue or each region needs it's own STF so there's no giant delay in reports possibly having to be translated.

Report and move on, since reporting won't do anything.

I reported the bot regularly in Il Mheg months ago. Still there.

Kind of glad they are, otherwise I wouldn't have anyone to do FATEs with.
