Forum adminds keep moving these threads to "resloved issues" because the OPs stop relying, the issue is not fixed, these people just give up because all they get are cookie cutter replies from admins.

This error, this needs to be fixed asap

from what I have understood so far, its from some type of anti-cheat or something that was added in 5.2

Not running reshade, not running mods, not running parsers, its not clear type, or what ever that program is called.

I am really starting to get tired of this issue being basicly ignored

We would like to recommend performing a Clean Boot on the desktop to see if the crashing continues. This will prevent any programs from starting up when the starting when the computer first boots up. This can end up having adverse effects on the game when these programs are running in the background. To perform a clean boot for Windows 10: Open the task manager (CTRL+SHIFT+ESC) and select the 'Start up' Tab. Disable everything here and restart the PC.

I have done so many times, this is in fact the cleanest boot I will get, as I run many things on my system to do what I do every day. I have not changed my setup and this started after the 5.2 update.

As a part of our countermeasures against cheating, we’ve made it so that the error appears and the game will be unable to run when there are applications or processes, etc. that interfere with memory. There are a variety of applications in Windows, and it is difficult to suggest a specific method of solving the issue because everyone’s personal environment differs greatly, so please try running the game in a simple environment that you’ve confirmed has no applications or processes that interfere with memory.

Same exact error. I just played yesterday for almost 10 hours without issue, log in today and now I'm getting this error every time after about 5 minutes of being logged in...what the heck is going on here?!

Before we get into all the shennanigans posted earlier, i.e. check this or that, I have done everything imaginable to check it out on my end and my full-time job is literally to maintain systems and services on computers for 10 hours a day, 50-60+ hours a week at a state university. I can build, maintain, and diagnose machines with my eyes closed as long as there's something controllable on my end to fix. This isn't on my end unless it's something installed by your patch that's working incorrectly.

I've uninstalled, re-installed, reset my character data, made sure that everything is as you'd like it for optimal performance and such. Explain why the error still exists? As of now I'm nit-picking system services but this makes zero sense and I do not see how from about 1am this morning until about 3pm today something changed when this machine wasn't even online and nothing else is mysteriously affected. Fix it.

nope, did all they asked and more way before I even made this thread. been getting this error since patch 5.2 and the only way I can log in is if I run the game through NVIDIA Experiance, and that honestly makes no sense -.-

Hey i today i ran to this issue when i disabled my User Access Control from windows registery.

if you have previously disabled it you can re-enable it from

1- registery editor : "Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System"

2- double click EnableLUA

3- set the value to 1

4- restart your pc (you must do that)
