This player base is getting out of hand.

Party finder is littered with

-Content Sellers.

-Advertisements in party finder.

-Forums.

-Development Team

Seriously.

And GM's dont do a single thing to combat these crazy party finders. Its only going to get worse.

Cant wait till this game stops releasing expansions so the playerbase gets back to people who actually care about the game, and arent here to exploit it.

Would be nice to get double the blacklist size. Thanks.

The Party Finder issue is an old one. I actually don't care about content selling, advertisements or even static posts if they DIDN'T MISUSE THE LABEL SYSTEM SO THEIR STUPID JUNK APPEARS AT THE TOP.

People advertising for in-game events is fine and I encourage it. But again, I don't want it junking up the list for people who actually want to do the content they have listed. Pet peeve right there.

The only raids that will be cannon are CT raids. And the community made its own bed there by constantly cheating the system to get them for Roulette (though not always--they like to come up completely randomly too). I kind of agree with this choice because the storyline is relavent now, but I have a suspicion they'll make the cutscenes unskipable like regular MSQ. If they do, I'm going to laugh because it serves a large portion of the community right.

These forums are mild. Im almost certain the system is entirely based on how many reports a post gets before an actual mod will respond. That's pretty standard but its also a system that is regularly abused IMO.

When they stop making expansions/content it will mean slow death for this game. i agree the GC system needs some love but we'll see what happens after the patch.

Was under the impression that all the raids are canon, just that theyre more side content (unlike lets say seasonal).

I mean other than CT, Omega Weapon and Alexander are directly relevant to the MSQ as without Alex or Omega weapon, there is no way for CT to have traveled to the first as the data collected from both those raids allowed Cid and the ironworks to create the thing in the bottom of CT.

Beyond that, voidark, rabanastar and the like is tangentially related to the MSQ through passing. So its all canon. Just it never was required moving forward in the MSQ.

In regards to that though, this just feels like a non issue in the end. It's not like every single raid is a "must" now, just the single one that is directly and inextricably related to the MSQ for ShB

Oh certainly. But it's not a main plot point for an entire expansion like CT is now. It too was side story content but is now main story content due to certain reveals in ShB. That's why I don't see the others becoming MSQ or mandatory like CT. I'm calling them canon but I really meant Main Canon. Where the others are side content.

Ever since coming back to ff14 I have not had any negative issues with the community besides gold selling bots...but what mmo doesn't have those. Then again I was playing WoW and well that community....oofh...I am also on goblin and Goblin apparently is famous for having a pretty nice community.
