It's been like this as far as I can remember. Hang in there!
While I don't agree on the bit about the devs I agree on the other points.
Gil selling should be looked into more, as well as content sellers in party finder selling ALL kinds of things. Very serious issue
The part about the forum, yeah its personal attacks reputation is legendary.
So let just go down the list of things you say.
1. For it to be RMT, it has to be with real money... Of which there's no proof and thus nothing for the GMs to moderate.
2. Like what or for what? And you know it's not porn so used quotation marks.
3. That's not even released content and isn't officially addressed. Also the title is counter norm and thus addressing the problem is well within reason.
4. So you are saying NPCs are acting oddly? I find that hard to believe.
5. Is such a minor thing as grand company progressing matter that much to make such a grandiose statement?
6. Battle leves where stopped for good reasons.
7. The revamps gotta come from somewhere and combat revamps aren't major ones and are mostly updates in expansions.
8. Why do you have some many on blacklist?
I am entirely convinced OP is a troll.
♥ Baby, tell me, what's your motive? ♥
Punishing people for the use of bad language is much easier than taking the steps required to seriously investigate the flow of dirty money that comes about through selling content clears. Your best bet to get anything accomplished is to petition your country's respective politicians to take financial crime found in gaming communities as something to pursue.
In the meantime, a blanket ban on advertisements that direct players to discuss boosts through third party sites/chat services would be a decent way to help alleviate the issue - but I suspect that this thread will attract players who insist on downplaying the problems raised within this thread.
Imagine opening a thread just to rant like this
The only thing I'm particularly concerned about is how rampant illicit activity like RMT, botting, and more recently the account phishing scams continue to be.
I see more and more people either buying unused accounts or level skipping new ones strictly for the purpose of bot farming lately, and they've made it nigh impossible to spawn S ranks without the entire data center immediately knowing about them thanks to their program having a hunt detector built into it which instantly broadcasts the hunt's location to everyone else using it (Which includes a lot of "normal" players who leave it on even while not actively botting) if they're simply in the same zone as the S rank.

Hi, end game raider here. I did Eureka and also have all my crafters and gatherers max level and melded. Also have all my jobs maxed. Also do most content in this game and enjoy it. Maybe you should find something to do you actually enjoy instead of making complaint threads on the forums every couple weeks.
Speaking out against criminal activity is a pretty productive use of time.
If only more people did it, then we'd see both the real world and the online world become much better places.
