Searing Wind and Briny Mirror were great healer mechanics. Anything that limits you and forces you to think about how to solve it is great.

Sadly we barely see anything like that anymore in modern fights.

Modern healer design is basically "Here, you are now a lightning rod for light party stack mechanics, that is your only role.".
