They should just make dancer a healer.
- Healing dance partner by dealing dmg
- Healing step that would have different effects/potencies depending on the number of steps performed
- Add a few healing oGCDs here and there

That's essentially what people wanted Dancer to be before we knew that it would be a ranged physical dps.

The concept of dancer as a healer seemed so interesting to me because in my mind, it didn't really fit the sort of "mage" mold that healers have going for them. My imagination ran wild with weird gimmicks for the job that didn't necessarily involve it casting X or Y heals (or perhaps just a select few).

With the removal of TP, any hope of dnc style healing died I think. Even in XI where it had a lot to work with, they made It just so it wasn't enough to be a main healer.

Yup, I liked to think DNC/chemist (CHM?) would be a "healer that plays like a NIN" basically
