That's why MMOS are so expensive, not only to keep them online, but to keep upgrading the infrastructure and hardware. Which is something they keep refusing to do and now heres the consequences of not doing so.

This 90006 error for me has to do with the path to the server (in my case Behemoth), not FF14's servers themselves, I have Australian friends that do not disconnect with 90006 at all for the last few days, whereas I (in NA) have been constantly no matter what I am doing in game. The culprit in tracert points to NTTs piece of crap hop. This is aside from the 2002 lose your mind and place error in queue.
Been having even more connection issues today, since at least about 10am GMT. Connection drops pretty much every ten minutes give or take a little. And once again all signs point to the NTT hops just before the actual servers.

Grab the IP of your DC from arrstatus dot com. Use WinMTR or Pingplotter. Post results to this thread. NTT has been having serious issues (even more that normal) along with hardware issues at the DC. If they could eliminate at least one then things would be greatly improved.
Hello !
I am currently having 90002 but only in instances / dungeons. I disabled "send big package" (or something like that) in my Ethernet settings, I am not connected in wifi, I don't know what to do since it's only happening in instances (and it happens alot...)
I'm going 9006 errors back to back, constant DC's.
No 'fix' has fixed anything at all.
Same thing too: It's the worst in dungeons.
I'm getting 90006/90002 and a couple 90001 errors. Most of my 90k errors are preceded by 10-60 seconds of the game hanging - I can move around but can't interact with anything. Especially frustrating is that with current queue times if I get booted because of server issues while in game, I have to wait at the end of the queue. I see the moderators are still peddling that ridiculous 'check your network settings' blurb because they won't address network/routing issues on their end. I know they got hammered by wow transplants, but this is a pretty cut and dry case of selling more game than their servers can handle.
I love the game, been playing since ARR. I'm not cancelling my sub or anything, but I definitely won't pre order again.
Your 10th? I'm on number 26 this morning alone. Also on Crystal, Balmung.
FIX THIS. This is literally unacceptable at this point. Wait in a 5 hour queue to be DC'd 5 minutes later. I can't even finish a single dungeon without being DC'd. Sometimes, it doesn't even wait 5 minutes.
SO they have mentioned these erros in the latest post on the loadstone:
We are currently investigating to see if we missed any factors other than unstable connections on the player's side, but there is not much information and we haven't found any problems so far.■ Reported Occurrences of Error 90002/90006 During Cutscenes
We have received several reports of these, which are general network connection errors caused by a disconnection in the internet line. We are currently investigating to see if we missed any factors other than unstable connections on the player's side, but there is not much information and we haven't found any problems so far. We will continue our investigation with utmost care and would appreciate it that players also check the stability of their internet lines
You know, despite the fact that NTT confirmed, and that plenty of people have posted traceroutes and sent in tickets also confirming that one of the nodes they use is dropping packets faster than Obama dropped the mic. They are either completely ignoring people or shifting the blame as far as they can on the user end. And the worst part is, people are going to defend this.
It's been happening to me a lot lately as well on Crystal, Diabolos with Errors 90001, 90002, and 90006. Sometimes it won't disconnect but I'll receive no packets and wait for it to catch up. It was happening before the Endwalker Early Access and I was able to get around it with a VPN back then and that even worked through the Early Access period but this past week no matter what I do it seems to happen sporadically. Today's been the worst day by far, desyncing at least once or twice an hour until it disconnected and now I can't do much after logging in before it disconnects again. I really hope this gets fixed soon. Even if I get in now I'm too nervous about running any dungeons/trials/raids worrying about disconnecting in the middle.
