Joining the high crowded servers may be cool to someone, but it have some drawbacks. This is one of them. You need compete more for the limited resources.

Sry but i didn't joined the Server because its cool nowdays or something. I created this char when 1.0 was released and its my first and only one since then. And yes it ticks me of a bit when i see ppl transferring to an overpopulated server or creating a new char there with the goal getting a plot there. Of course i can understand the reasons and i think its SE fault in the first place to not being able to handle this stuff properly.
One temporary solution could have been showing a big fat warning that plot buying is disabled for any new transfered or created char for fixed amount of time or until the situation got better. Of course there may be better ways and thats just one idea. SE has to do something about this, but as everyone can see they dont care. Sure adding Shirogane was nice and Ishgard to, but everything else just feels like a bandaid fix and dont will solve the issues on overpopulated servers.
I really do believe reducing the invisible timer is the least that can be done ^^ there's now way someone could sit and camp for 20+ hours. And I did camp for 12 hours, it's excruciating x___x It's not a surprise people use bots, this system drives them to do so.
Also Missbone, I agree about joining forces \o/ (and I beg you my pardon about my sudden dc, internet died)
No worries, i was a bit frustrated anyways that i lost the plot to some new rdm char (i'm pretty sure it was a twink) and went off short after the plot was sold.^^
But i really don't understand how normal ppl that only click causally the place card from time to time can win against bots that spam the card nonstop. Its like something in the background still don't allow them to buy it even if its unlocked already.
