Game crashes without errors

The game crashes everyday a lot of times after the latest patch (i think it's the 5.25?) before this new patch it was all perfect with 0 crashes, i did not install nothing new, i haven't changed anything on my pc, here is the log:

Good afternoon and thank you for posting on the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.

We noticed that your graphics card drivers are a little out of date and newer patches are going to utilize newer driver versions. We would like to recommend performing a Clean Boot on the desktop to see if the crashing continues. This will prevent any programs from starting up when the starting when the computer first boots up. This can end up having adverse effects on the game when these programs are running in the background. To perform a clean boot for Windows 10: Open the task manager (CTRL+SHIFT+ESC) and select the 'Start up' Tab. Disable everything here and restart the PC. The other thing we would suggest is reinstalling the game as well as deleting locally saved content (My Documents > My Games > Final Fantasy XIV).

Hello. Will the new patch address the crashing issues everyone else is having?

Just had a silent CTD with no errors just earlier, was just sitting in Gridania, wasn't alt-tabbing or anything, chatting with a party member while I ate supper.

BOOM.

Game just..... disappears.

How the heck are you supposed to debug something when there's no errors, no logfiles, nothing?

And my graphics drivers are up-to-date, because I was having other crashes.

Seems like it's not us, it's the patch. So many people reporting issues. Please fix this stuff with 5.3.

I had 2 crashes today, i've updated windows, uninstalled drivers and installed them again but it didn't solve anything

I have been having the same issues as well. I am heading to one place to another, doing a quick trial, talking to other players, and suddenly it crashes without any warning.

It must have been the recent patches or something. I did ask for their support, they told me to clean boot and reinstalling. Those methods didn't work.

Tried looking around reddit and other places for suggestions. So far the biggest helps was making sure you don't have any type of overlays. Such as Discord, the Windows Game Bar thingy, and so on.

But like some of you mention, there will be times you can go with a few days without any crashes then suddenly you crash on another, and soon crash when you log back in.


I am glad I am not the only experiencing this issue, and I am guessing given the problems of the world they don't have enough folks looking into this problem? I hope it get fixed soon

It seems that with G-SYNC disabled the game does not crash anymore, i've been playing for 2-3 days without crashes
