I just want an buff icon that displays what mount your currently on so I don't have to ask people "hey, that mount is awesome, where did you get it?" Only to never be answered.

Thank you I've been wanting to chime in on this subject, they're bound to run out of good mount ideas. 100 minds have 100 more ideas than their small dev team.

I'd love to see some kind of tree as a mount, it's really way overdue compared to all the dragon mounts we've gotten

A chimera (for leveling all the tank jobs to 80)
A normal wolf
A normal horse
A normal falcon
A scorpion
Canis pugnax (I could've sworn I saw one as a mount in a live letter years ago)
A jellyfish
