Mount suggestion thread

Everyone loves mounts, its what keeps some of the old ex's going and the treasure hunters something to show off

But...many people were disappointed with the recent sheep and dhalmel mounts and many were surprised at such a spoilery mount being the reward of this tier's savage.


So why not a thread to suggest mounts we do want?


Here's my ideas:

Titan Kart: plays phase 3 primals music
Imdugud- boss from turn 10 of the coil of bahamut
A surfboard mount, we already make splashes on our mounts in water
Wing mount: Perhaps dragon wings for dragoons, light wings that WHM makes or Feo Ul esque pixie wings

Given we have chairs and a bed, I'd like a sofa, either a 3-seater or a corner sofa, and it sits either three or four or more, I don't know. However much room is on the sofa.

Or something based on the Riviera Garden table set, again sitting max 4 people. Spins around like the Gold Saucer adamantoise but perhaps slower, plays lounge music along the lines of Game Theory.

Would elike to see Mounts based off the rainbow "Singularity" Bird from the Ozma fight. A green variant of the ADS (likely as another PVP thing),and Mounts for healers a la the Tank mounts.

I'd like healers to have mounts like tanks do: WHM = Swan, AST = Owl, SCH = Deer (based on their PVP gear like tanks are).

Actually, it would be neat if every job had a unique mount for some sort of achievement, not necessarily related to their PVP animal. MCH could summon their Queen for a lift for example, or NIN could hop along on their frog.

A Triple Triad card gained from TT achievements would be cool; we could be gripping an edge and be lying down on our stomachs.

The umbrellas should be given flight capabilities.

Using the umbrella system as a starting point, I would love to be able to equip various wings and be able to fly around with my wings.

Honestly?

I just want an buff icon that displays what mount your currently on so I don't have to ask people "hey, that mount is awesome, where did you get it?" Only to never be answered.

Thank you I've been wanting to chime in on this subject, they're bound to run out of good mount ideas. 100 minds have 100 more ideas than their small dev team.

I'd love to see some kind of tree as a mount, it's really way overdue compared to all the dragon mounts we've gotten

Yes! As long as they don't turn it pink as they are wont to do, like they did with that Gyr Abania elephant, the mount turned out to be completely different for some reason.
