Wife account hacked

I wife ended up clicking the fake forum link and got account hacked and now its suspended NOT BANNED we put in a ticket and its been almost a week does any how long its been taking to get an account suspended theses days. Or are we supposed to call with the inquiry number?

We had someone in our FC get their account hacked just before NA customer support was suspended. It was 16 days for the account to be restored.

But caution - just getting the account back isn't the end of it. Support will also need to do a rollback of the character to restore any items the hacker has deleted/sold and in the case of our FC member, that happened a week AFTER the account was restored. All gear progress made on the character during that week was lost along with some other items obtained. Warn your wife to avoid purchasing items through tomestones/scrip/gil/etc. until the rollback is completed. A separate email will be sent once it's done.

Yeah, nearly got fooled by that shit too now so long ago, thank my paranoia for checking the URL before I actually logged in. Worst part of it was the link was put up by a renown FFXIV content creator who was 'doing an event for her last FFXIV stream: forum post link in description'

That was likely a faked stream from a phisher - they've been making numerous accounts trying to impersonate known XIV streamers and personalities as a means to try and dupe people into clicking their phishing links. Many XIV streamers have had to warn people about faked accounts.
