Adding in a "me too" here. I just resubbed a few days ago for the first time since 4.0 (logged in once last year for a server transfer during that free period). Was fine for a few days, got my GNB up to 70 with a random crash here and there. Then it just got worse and worse and worse, very rapidly over the last day or two. They've all been errorless CTDs except for two. It wasn't affecting other players 'til this morning when I crashed while tanking mid-Susano, and that's where I drew the line. Now I can't keep the game running for more than 5-10 minutes, and I've tried most everything in the thread and in others.

    Specs:
    EVGA 1070 GTX SC Gaming
    AMD Ryzen 5 1600X
Asus VG248 144hz (older model without gsync)
    ASRock AB350 Pro4 mobo
    16GB ram

    1st crash with a message:
"An unexpected error has occurred. Exiting FINAL FANTASY XIV
    2020-03-26_13:14
    ffxiv_dx11.exe+318245
    ffxiv_dx11.exe+355C4B
    ffxiv_dx11.exe+355C2D
    ???+16788616AAC"

    2nd crash with a message:
"An unexpected error has occurred. Exiting FINAL FANTASY XIV
    2020-03-26_13:14
    ffxiv_dx11.exe+318245
    ???+1AB70B0EE80
    ???+1AB3D3C3580
    ???+1
    ???+2
    ???+1AB70B101A0
    ffxiv_dx11.exe+379422"

I'm pretty devastated, and put a lot of money back into resubbing/expansion/fantasia. Was really enjoying it, but this is legitimately unplayable now. No other program on my PC has any issues.

    I've tried the following:

    - Disabled Discord overlays
    - Uninstalled all XBOX Gamebar and other XBOX apps on my PC
    - Toggled the fullscreen optimizations option
    - Switched from fullscreen to borderless windowed
    - Shut down all other apps aside from FFXIV
    - Updated Windows and my NVIDIA drivers
    - Reinstalled the game

I took each step individually, and still ended up having the DX11 crash sooner or later. Generally seemed to happen when I was mid-fight in a Duty, but sometimes just walking around town as well.

Switched to DX9 as of tonight and no crashes as yet. Still, lame that we have to downgrade to an inferior DX in order to actually play the game. Meanwhile, my daughter has been playing just fine on her laptop using DX11 for months, so it must be tied to hardware in some fashion.
