Launcher stuck on logo screen

Hi guys I have been playing this game for years and I have never encountered this problem


I was able to login to the game just yesterday but when I tried to start the game today I was stuck in the launcher logo.
I tried what this post suggested (https://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/...rt-on-launcher) and restarted my computer after changing the settings on IE but I'm still stuck.

Good afternoon and thank you for posting on the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.

To prevent repeating previously attempted troubleshooting, what have you tried to alleviate the problem? Does this happen when Final Fantasy XIV is the only program running? Also, could you provide a system report? Simply go to the 'Config' option on the Final Fantasy XIV launcher and to the right of 'System Information' click on 'Display.'
