Anybody have any idea what is causing this?

I never used to get crashes, at all but starting a week or two ago they are happening frustratingly often.

I didn't change any hardware, or anything.

I tried updating my GPU drivers, and it still happens. Seems so random, sometimes I can go for days and other times, it just wants to crash every 30 minutes.

EDIT: After doing some googling and asking FC, I turned Steam Overlay off, disabled the Xbox game bar, and game modes in Win10, and I had OBS running at the time of this most recent crash, but I'm pretty sure I've had this same crash even without OBS, but I'll try not booting that up and see if I still get crashes.

The last patch did this, a lot of people are crashing with no reasons... I logged in today, and they will do a fix in the game. I hope this one is on the list.

Seems like there's some unknown program causing them, if it has the ???'s. If it doesn't come back up when you dont have OBS running, I'd try a reinstall of that with the latest version. Otherwise, I'd start by turning off all programs in the background, and slowly turn things on 1 by 1 to see if you can figure out which is causing the issue.

I kinda wish the game would give more feedback as to what exactly is causing errors. Like, a crash logfile or something.

But anyhow... since I disabled the game bar, the game mode, and the Steam overlay that's surely three of the ???s in that log, and OBS could potentially be a 4th.

I have no clue what else would be trying to hook FFXIV, unless Steam has two hooks or something, perhaps.

We'll see if the error pops again. I'll try and remember to not use OBS for awhile until/unless I get another error.

Wasn't even on for 30 seconds, as soon as I loaded up, another error:

Someone suggested that I disable Cortana and Text Input, so I did that.
