    Controller + mouse stuck

So I have played FFXIV with subs for like 180 days and never had problem with using Ps4 controller and mouse on PC. I use mouse for scroll and other things. No issue. Had so much fun. Took a break until I decided to get back on for another 90 days. Now that I am playing with Ps4 controller, it's got issue somehow. Sometime when I'm typing or moving around, controller gets stuck as well the mouse so I couldn't do anything and the mouse is even stuck on desktop so I had to force restart my computer. The game doesn't freeze, it kept going. Just the controller and mouse gets stuck. Task manager didn't do any justice for me. I've tried. Happened 5th times so far. I cannot do anything but typing in chat log when the controller and mouse is frozen. It's kind of a rare issue that doesn't get stuck everytime but it gets annoying if that happens again someday. Any of you have that issue? I'd like to hear your opinions and answers. I don't know if it's the cord or my PC. What can I do to get it fixed?

Good morning and thank you for posting on the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.

We apologize that you are experiencing difficulties with your controller. Please try the following troubleshooting steps:

    - Try using a genuine Xbox360 or Xbox One controller (preferably wired) as these are compatible with Windows OS.
    - Try plugging the controller into different ports (both front and back).
    - Make sure all drivers for the controller are fully up to date.
    - Uninstall and reinstall the device drivers.
    - Disable all other device drivers, leaving the mouse, keyboard, and controller as the only active devices.
    - If you are using a specialized gaming keyboard, try using a different keyboard to ensure there are no conflicts between the devices.
    - Try unplugging all other devices and only plugging in the mouse, keyboard, and controller.
    - Make sure Windows has been fully updated form the Microsoft/Windows Update website.

Thank you for visiting the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.

    Hello,

Thanks for the response but there's no need to apologize because it's actually my computer and not the game. I fixed it by switching both mouse and controller to the lower USB port and it fixed after it has been stuck. Like I said it's a rare issue but now that I know the solution. I am taking your troubleshoot for the future whenever I'm running into problem once again. Thanks again I appreciate.
