Unable to Home World Transfer

Hello, I have an issue with Home World Transfer. I tried twice already and I followed world transfer service requirements. I am trying to transfer from Phoenix (EU-Light) to Cerberus (EU-Chaos). Both Worlds are "Standard" and have "Creation of New Characters Available" status. I have two friends who started playing one month after me and they were able to transfer just fine today. When I am trying to transfer I am getting information:

"This character cannot use the Home World Transfer service until 90 days have elapsed since the character was created. Please try the process again after 90 days have elapsed."

I feel like this is either a technical issue or it is extremely unfair - all my friends already transferred and I am stuck. Please help.

* Characters in any of the following situations will not be able to utilize the Home World Transfer service until 90 days have elapsed:
- Characters transferred to a New World
- Characters created on a New World
- Characters transferred from a Congested World to a Preferred World
- Characters created on a Preferred World

If any of that applies to your character, you have to wait. It all depends on when you created your character, transfered over, etc. The current world status doesn't unlock you from the wait.

I feel that this is extremely unfair to direct all new players to the New World and then make sure to block them for another 90 days, even despite the fact that the World already became Standard. In my opinion it's a very low blow. All my friends who I brought to the game by recommending it, already transferred and I will have to wait almost two month to play with them now. This is completely unnacceptable.

I was not informed that I will not be able to transfer my character for 90 days once I was creating it. Therefore I should be able to ask for full refound so that I could create a new account and actually be able to play with my friends.

I was recommending this game for almost 2 months to everybody around and I feel like I have been very much misstreated right now. I guess every game has its ups and downs and I just found the down of the game I fell in love with ---> apparently way too fast

If you're willing to do that, you could just create a new character on the other server instead? The entry sub is 1 character per world with a maximum of 8 total characters.

The restrictions are in place so you cant make a character on a new server then transfer to locked servers (which allow transfers but not new characters), or transfer a character off a congested world to a new one (to get the freebies), then off the new one to the original server if it becomes uncongested right away.

Did you ask? The information about transfers is freely available, most people don’t make a character with the intent to transfer.

Dustytome already invested too much time and money to this character. I leveled a lot of DoH/DoL to lvl 80.

Barraind as a new player I think restrictions are in a extremely bad place. As a new player I am basically forced to roll to the New World, without a knowledge that I will be locked on it for another 90 days. New players should never have any restrictions, as they are new to the game and not informed/don't have knowledge about many different things. I underestand the restrictions are great when people who already play the game make new accounts etc. But to lock out a new player is a very low blow, especially someone who already paid for the game.

Canadane no I did not ask. As a new player I am used to just choose the server and play on it. I would have to have a robot to answer my question every 1 min if I wanted to ask questions about everything I was not sure about when I started playing (used google a lot!). It was overwhelming. I would never thought that I should ask somoene "Hey, should I go to New World, because I am afraid that I might be locked down for 90 days" - Can you imagine that, I am not a fairy nor I read minds. And the information was not given to me at the time when I was choosing the server. It should have!

I convinced peope to play this game with me, and they started to play on the server as it became standard. Since it already became standard why am I being still punished? And the same thing happened to me when I tried to create new character on Chaos. I choosed one server and game insisted that I choose the New World! They just try to bait me to be locked yet again. You can choose whichever world you want on a data center. The game makes a suggestion on a server on that data center, but you don't have to choose it. As long as a server isn't congested/locked you can choose it. A congested server is locked until SE opens it (and that doesn't happen until a patch update) but a locked server is locked temporarily because so many characters are actively playing on it at that time. But they will unlock for new characters to be made on them. Sometimes with those you need to make a character at a non-peak playing time.

As someone who has several alts I can assure you, that all you have to do is deny the server-suggestion in character-creation and then are able to freely choose between the currently available (a ka open) servers a datacenter offers.
