How to deal with Cure/Benefic 1?

There are specific reasons Catalyze can’t be spread by Deploy (mostly related to critlo-Deploy cheese in the past), and Excog wouldn’t really be appropriate. I think a more suitable alternative would be to add a buff to Succor/Aldo that remembers how big your initial galvanize shield was, then have Deploy trigger off of that buff and apply a new shield accordingly.

i mean a group excog would still be useful, especially in giving the SCH breathing room though.

That said your suggestion does seem the more likely
