The size is perfect in all three dimensions. The roof is high enough to allow players to make their own second floors if they want. Where the bed is locate is the perfect area to add an outdoor environment.

It's a responsible and manageable fix to the housing problem we currently have.

I was thinking of something bigger like the Eulmore main aetherite floor, or the St. Reymanaud's cathedral in Ishgard, that massive, fully customizable and functional of course with outdoor balcony aesthetics, since the room/space is instanced in the form of an apartment anyways.

I would love that! Though, I'd say leave the bed area as is and give us that gorgeous giant window/balcony instead. It would get rid of those three tiny and completely in the way windows at the back. And if making a fully functional balcony would be problematic, maybe designate a nice flower box or something in front of it as your 'garden'.

If this came with a nice item limit increase as well to cover the extra space I'd be over the moon!
