    Flight Toggle

In zones where you have flight enabled you can’t jump on your mount without flying and you can’t run off of high terrain and just fall. It would be nice to have a flight toggle, kind of like the walk/run toggle, that allows your mount to behave like a ground mount.

It could be an unassigned keybind by default. Of course it should have a indicator as the walk toggle does.

Theres a toggle for that already in Character Config -> General.

Flight on jump is Auto, Manual requires a double jump. Setting it to manual should be what you're after.

Cool thanks. Weird it's right there! I never saw it, though I spend a LOT of time in character config. Probably just use to having to search for things

Actually, even with manual flight toggled on your mount will still automatically start flying if you're ever going over an area that has no solid footing below you (Or sometimes even if there is).

I was slightly disappointed that you can't jump off the giant cliffs in Kholusia.

I think that's all the places you can't walk off. There is an invisible wall unless you are mounted and have flight unlocked. That always seemed odd since they also have the "always have 1 HP after a fall" mechanic. .

Tbh I'd like it if there was an actual flight toggle that can disable flight. Going on ground while you know you'll fly over an edge or you can fly when you double jump isn't quite the same imo cause it puts it more "in your face" that you're handicapping yourself.

There are also no longer any mounts that can't fly.
