In past expansion I would have agreed due to threat management but ShB trivialized aggro management so .. I don't see why you have an issue with Rez sickness

It's 25% less to all stats, so they take more damage and have less hp as well. Most of the time it doesn't matter, but if a tank pulls MT back immediately after dying and takes a buster to the face before being healed it can end badly.

Weakness and Brink of Death do not affect VIT nor does it affect defense. It only affects, STR, DEX, INT and MND.

Weakness and Brink used to also affect vit until it was changed to above back in SB, so it will only affect damage dealt, it does not affect damage recieved.

No you don't loose vit. This has been fixed long ago . (SB according o aoddhan, I thought it was HW but that's definitely not something I recall properly so SB it is I suppose )

If you'd loose 25% vit then dps wouldn't be able to survive any transition with Rez sickness, yet we can.
I also just checked some of my prog video on UwU, our dearest NIN that keeps being thrown on the wall during Titan always has the same maximum HP after a Rez.

Too many raid wide damage nowadays do something like 80-90% dps/heal HP even after some mitigation. Loosing 25% max Heath after being Rez would mean u wouldn't be able to survive almost every aoe... And -50% would get u killed by even low dmg aoe.

So if Rez sickness doesn't affect survivability, and threat is a non issue even with -50% dmg done, why wouldnt a tank with Rez sick be MT?

For consistency of CD's there mostly is a reason why a certain tank is tanking a boss. But overall for AA's sake allow the better-geared tank to main tank.

Now regarding people who want to fight you for agro, I usually play along. It can be fun ^_^!

Lololol majority of the time I outgear the other tank, and in raids BOTH tanks, but they wanna be RealDealTank with thier min. ilvl gear so I let em have at it.

I wasnt tanking yesterday, but it tickled me that during first boss of CF all three didnt want to MT. This took 5min lmao before one of them said F it. There's 3(THREE) of you, SOMEONE gotta grab the mob.

This is what we call Gunbreaker (formerly Warrior) Syndrome. They want the toughness of a tank without the responsibility of actually tanking, essentially making them a Great Value™ DPS.

If they want Aggro, they can have it. If they die I'll just take over again. Eventually the Healers will stop raising them and wasting MP.

WAR has almost always been the Main Tank even in Stormblood. WAR syndrome is a mythical thing.
GNB syndrome... sure? If they are the OT now but with how tanking works in Savage there is no OT anymore, just one tank that pulls and another that takes tanking duty at X time in the fight.
