The Eighty Steps of Sasamo

I know I'm a bit late in this, but I started filling my hunting log yesterday. Today I got to the Gladiator log and find that The Eighty Steps of Sasamo, which is mandatory, don't show up on the map. How do I find it? Has it been discontinued? Am I doing it too late? If I can't do it, how can I ever get to do my Class Logs?

The Eighty Sins of Sasamo is in Western Thanalan. You can find it bottom right on the map.

I just understood something fundamentally, it's not the quest but the sub-zone that shows up. Dang, I have wasted an hour trying to find a quest that doesn't seem to exist (but might have at one point, which is why it shows up as a quest when I search the Internet).

Also worth mentioning that you don't strictly need to be in the location listed in the hunting log if the same enemy occurs elsewhere. You can even claim some guildhest enemies.

The Eighty Sins is specifically the stairs leading up to the Ul'dah city gate. It's probably labelled if you zoom in closer, but the name also comes up on screen as you enter the area.

There is no time limit on doing hunt logs, so don't worry about that

As others have stated, the Eighty-Eight Sins of Sasamo is the big staircase leading down from the Ul'dah gate into Western Thanalan towards Scorpion Crossing - specifically, the gate that leads out to it is the Gate of the Sultana, the gateway nearest the THM Guild in the Steps of Thal.

Ironically, this is fitting, given the lore that has been revealed about the Sins of Sasamo - it was apparently built as a punishment metted out to a past former ruler of Ul'dah for certain crimes (apparently said sultana had to walk up and down the stairs lugging rocks endlessly as a 'cruel and unusual punishment'). Evidentally the quest that was meant to explain this got overlooked however and was never implemented into the game itself sadly though, but Ferne has explained about it in the Lore forum in the past.

Either way, go through the Gate of the Sultana leaving Ul'dah and you'll basically be taken straight to the Eighty-Eight Sins of Sasamo, so you won't miss it.
